Hi,

I have made a complete overhaul to this Omega 752, but after a bit of wirst time, the day disc will not jump.

I suspect that there is too much room between dial and day disc, so that the disc can move out of its position.
The dial being the only thing that is actually holding the disc down in  place. See pictures.

Dial is been slightly bent on one edge, but does not seem to be an issue.

My repair suggestion would be to support dial on edge and gently press down in center hole.
Theory being that the dial will come closer to the date disc, keeping it in place.

What do you think?

Not sure what you mean as there's a spacer on the back of the dial to set the gap?

Edit

Can you post photos with the dial removed and then with the day disc removed.

Yes, the white plastic ring should put the right amount of space between dial hand day disc. I have been remounting the dial several times making sure to apply pressure for it get all the way down.

Pictures as requested, thank you!

So there looks nothing wrong with that day disc and as long as you're engaging the finger through the hole it should work.

Does the finger operate with the day disc removed and is the star secured on the disc.
