So I have no choice really other than to use this screw. The hole in the setting lever is already big enough to just slide up and down the screw. I could try and close the hole up, but there isn't much metal there to squish back in.

I'd said 0.8mm as that's what you'd mentioned in an earlier
post but it depends if the problem is the screw or the lever?

Assorted setting lever screws are also available but not the cheapest
option without knowing if there are any larger screw anyway.

These only go to 0.85mm which may just re-tap themselves into the lever.
