Would anyone know where to source a v-notch gage for a jacot lathe?

I recently purchased a very nice one that was missing the gage. I can measure the pivots with a mic, but it would be easier with the gage.

Also, does anyone know the relationship between the numbers on the jacot and measure in mm?

I saw on yt that the units should be .01mm x the castle slot number.

Thx

The guage is only really worth it for completeness. It is sometimes referred to as “the pivot breaker “, not the easiest thing for success. The best tool for measuring pivots is a type of watchmakers bench micrometer, the best known is the JKA Feintaster but there are others from Bergeon etc. normal C type micrometers have been known to crush the pivot I hear but I have no experience of that.

Than you Tom. I purchased one of the mics you referenced from Poland. It is due next week. Can you answer the question about the unit conversion?
