ZENITH 1200 cal. 40T - looking for an original watch case (Dial 31 mm!)

Hello Everyone

I am currently starting my 3rd watch project: disassembly, cleaning and assembly of my ZENITH 1200 cal. 40T movement. I have until now worked on my very first two ETA 2472 projects (Zentra and Primato)... Really had fun with them and greatly enjoy my new hobby...

For my new Zenith project, I have been searching for an appropriate watch case which can accomodate a 31mm dial - non automatic. I have recently purchased one watch case, but it does not accept my dial size (unfortunately too small).

Does anyone know of any sources for Zenith watch cases?

Unfortunately dial size is not the only parameter you have to take into consideration.  Depth of movement, Depth of the stem etc.  Your best bet is to find a donor, with a decent case but broken movement.  Modern cases are available but probably not for your movement.

Things are slightly more complicated with yours due to the domed dial so you also need to consider the lens dome and height.
