Hi,

Has anyone worked on the ETA 2502? I got a Rexa watch equipped with that movement, and I cannot set the date. The system looks quite complicated (for me 😀) and I wasn't able to find any tuto on this caliber. Here are a few pictures I took when disassembling it (it was ... greasy).

Now I've had a better chance to look at the movement do the intermediate wheel and drive wheel rotate as expected.

Edit

Can you remove this guard and show how the jumper and spring are fitted.

So do the intermediate wheel and drive wheel rotate as expected?

Not familiar with this particular movement but would have expected to see the date jumper and spring under there so where are they fitted?

After trying and trying again, I managed to put things straight. The parts are very delicate to put back. This is my first ETA movement, and I've found that the date setting is more complicated than with other calibers. Maybe just en impression ?

Thank you all
