I'm going to info dump to try and see if an expert can pinpoint what I may have done wrong.

I just did my 3rd ever watch servicing. It is an 1885 Elgin model 3 grade 10. I had to also replace a mainspring, balance jewels, and staff. I noticed the old roller table slipped on a bit too easy so I used a round stake to shrink the hole. Put it all back together and it ran well, but gained about 3 minutes/day. Maybe I shouldn't have put a little molykote on the motion works. I took off the face and cleaned the gears. When I put it back together and snapped the case back closed everything stopped. I took off the balance and found the roller table was loose again. I had a matching one from an Elgin model 5 grade 294 (matching part numbers) so I switched it to my grade 10.

Now the problem: Ever since, the watch will not run. If I just have he balance on the backplate it moves very freely, but when I install the balance assembly onto the completed watch it meets strong resistance, even without the motion works installed. I lubed the pallet forks and pivots properly. Is there any expert who can tell me what I did wrong? Thanks.
