Date can be moved without isdues from the crown but it can't be moved by ritating the the hour hand.

Date (day) CAN be moved without issues from the crown (position 1) but it CAN NOT be moved by rotating the crown (position 2), nor does it move in a normal 24hr. cycle.

Hi V.,

This is not connected with the battery, the calendar switching movement is broken. Often the quartz calibres are not repairable, they are replaced if something is wrong. You need to understand what calibre is inside You watch, is it repairable or it will be easier/cheaper to replace the movement (or the entire watch).

Hi first  we need pictures of the movement and watch to determine the calibre ans as Neven said whether it’s worth repairing or not. Depending on the maker and its construction.
