Seiko 7T32 Hour and Minute hands don't align

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I bought this watch at a Goodwill store. I replaced the battery. The watch works but the hour and minute hands are off by about 22 minutes. I aligned the chronograph hands with the A B buttons. To align the hour/minute hands, to I have to remove the hands to align them?

Thanks,

Ed

the movement number is on the back and on the dial, its the first 4 digits under the 6 o'clock marker,  so look on the web for setting instructions or maybe someone here will come forward and help, I am not sure if the hands set independently, sometimes when a battery is changed the dial is accidentally separated from the movement and the hour wheel get off a tooth or more, or the one of the hands is touching/coming into contact with another hand, marker or the alarm hands in your case....
