Hello Folks.

Well, I hadn't been a forum member for long last time I was here,,, and I haven't been on in a long time. Just about a year I think. A little frustrating as I was and am still very excited to learn, I did purchase a fair amount of tools and stuff, a few old watches to start on, dove right in, and then, I kinda got married, bought a big OLD house, changed jobs,,, list goes on. But, here I am. Look'n for help.

I'm in the process of building a sauna in my big OLD house and,,, I purchased a set of old-school sauna heater controls, one never installed (seems to be in good working order) and another that has seen better days. It runs on a timer. I would like to repair it if I can, and with y'all's help if you'll offer...

I know it's not the usual thing but it's purely mechanical, has gears and drives itself (or it's supposed to).

I took it apart and I really think no one had ever been into it before, but I could be wrong. I didn't find any broken gears, no shattered parts, a broken spring BUT there seems to be a spring missing somehow...?

I hope someone will help.... I'll post a couple of photos to start. I think for most of you, it could or will be a pretty simple diagnosis. I don't see what the issue with it is at this point and yeah, need some help.

If you'd like better or different shot of this thing just say... I'm open to all ideas and will do what I'm told, lol
