I am servicing this clock.  It was keeping excellent time, but my friend wanted me to service it.  I am not using my standard cleaning technique (ultrasonic in L&R clock solution).  Instead, I am just pegging the holes and cleaning the pivots.  Overall, it was quite clean, but it is now cleaner.

Regarding the balance/escape/pallet...for a watch, the balance goes in one dip and the other two go in the L&R watch cleaning machine.  I think I will just manually clean the pallet and escape wheel (just pithing the pivots).  The balance...dunno yet.

As far as oil, I will use my my trusty Elgin 56-B on the escapement.  Planning to use clock oil everywhere else.

Thoughts?
