Hi,

I am restoring a Paul Garnier pocket watch. I think the movement is beautiful, and it has a very interesting case. But it came with no dial, no bezel and no crystal. The movement diameter (excluding the "lip") is 41.71 mm which I make to be a size 15S  (18.5 Lignes).

What are my chances of finding a bezel that fits? Do you think any 15S case bezel will do the job? I see lots of old cases on eBay, but very few quote exact sizes. The outer diameter of the flange which the bezel clips to is 47.4 mm.

Are bezels made just for each case, or are they standardised sizes?

If I keep buying old cases of roughly the sae size off eBay will I strike lucky?

Any advice?

Many thanks.

Bill
