Rolex 3035 Stem Won’t Release

Hi All!

Im about to start working on a Rolex 3035 movement which is currently cased. When I try to remove the stem from 2nd position by depressing the release button it won’t come out. I’ve tried it in every position and nothing. Stem works fine in all positions but will not come out therefore not allowing me to uncase the movement. Any tips on getting the stem out? Perhaps partial disassembly from the backside of the watch? Any help is appreciated!

Hi On some they were screw release which caused a few problems so they went to the push button type.    You may find the attached service manual handy to have.
