  1. Topic: gold tone and rose gold links I have links from watches that are rose gold and gold tone , which are very scuffed and badly abused. The watches keep time well .... Have any one used the kits for replacing the plating ... or shall I find new links or buy a new bracelet for these types of watches... They are Micheal Kors......... What would be the solution?   2. I purchased a watch from a thrift store. In fact several watches. The watches are not running therefore put new batteries in each. Scuff marks and scratches were evident but the crystals are fine. One watch I buffed and polish I thought it was all stainless but the bezel was part of the case it turned out to be I do not know..... This is what it looks like now .. Can this be fixed?
  3. I am new but not so new.. Just finished taking an intro course in watch repair. did pretty good.. Completed repair of a Fossil Watch. Question what is the best method of cleaning .... I have purchased several Swiss army watches for practicing on how to clean and repair as well as open the case back.. they are not new... I purchased 2 mechanical watches A 1951 vintage Bulova; Girard perregaux vintage watch, don't know if either are authentic Help!
  4. I am looking for a watch crystal for a fossil watch model FS 4844. Would like to purchase. I also have a problem with scratches on the watch case and bracelet( both are stainless steel) what is the best solution or steps for removing the scratches. I do have dremel tool.
