  1. thanks for the help! The Le Arsi, analyzer is on hold do to covid-19. The price is 188$ for the Le Arsi 1168-1NC86 Analyser tester with Led array and audio
  2. this is what i did: 1. Installed a new battery, put the watch on my tester did not get a pulse, waited 30 secs did not get a beep 2. Ask my instructor what did he think I should do. He responded by telling me to buy a new movement 3. Therefore I had already purchased the circuit board...........replaced the circuit board 4. The watch works! I know this not the way to do this but i took a gamble; now i have a circuit board that needs to tested to see if its good , therefore if this happens again i well know how to test a circuit to see if the coil is bad or some other problem.... How can this be done..........
  3. I used a circuit board that I bought off line( 978.002) installed the circuit board the watch is working perfectly............ I took a gamble........ Now i want to test the old circuit board to see if that was the real problem.........
  4. Thanks, where do u purchase the analyser, from Le Arsi.... How expensive are you talking about? well I have one circuit board and the watch did work...... now i have a circuit board that needs fixing.... the problem was not mechanical.......... I like to investigate things, saw the analyser on You tube and thought maybe I could use this machine...... Therefore again how expensive is this machine?
  5. I replaced the battery in a Gucci 3000L , after replacing the watch did not work......the next step was to replace the movement, little did not know the movement 978.002 6 jewel, ETA is very hard to find, the replacement is the is the Rhonda 2 hand movement HQ751E...........after looking , and getting advice , i did not buy the replacement , i bought a circuit board, now I am stuck with a board and i need advice on how to fix the circuit board.......... There is a video by Le Arsi, he has an analyzer, is anybody familiar with this watch maker? or his analyzer? Here's a video
  6. Is this a good way to clean a Quartz movement? Cleaning the a watch movement Watches accumulate over time dust and small metal debris inside the movement. All watches have a friction fit to allow you to change the time while the movement is running. If there is oil on that friction fit then the movement will not be able to drive the watch hands any more properly. The friction fit will slip and the time will be off. A quartz watch that is off by several minutes per week has usually mechanical problems, not eclectic problems. Quartz movements are more simple in their mechanical design. They have very few cog wheels and it's easy to get to them. This open design does often allow you to wash the movement in lighter fluid without taking it apart. Lighter fluid to clean watch movments. To clean a quartz watch you just take the movement out of the case, dip it in a small bowl with lighter fluid and move it a bit left and right to allow for the flow of lighter fluid through the movement. This will wash old oil, debris and dust out of the movement and you will find small particles at the bottom of the bowl. I have installed a new battery just a few month ago and now the watch needs again a new one If you are sure that the battery is was of good quality then this is probably a sign of oil in the movement getting old and sticky. The friction in the movement has increased. An easy way to fix this is to first apply a bit of very thin Moebius quartz oil. After that you wait a few days (watch running) until the oil got into all the pivot holes where it dissolved the old and sticky oil. Finally you wash the excess oil away with lighter fluid. Just wash the entire movement in lighter fluid. Traces of oil will remain in the movement and that is enough. You don't need to take the movement apart for this procedure.
  7. Have anyone used or heard of the Quartz watch analyzer 118 by Le Arsi?

  13. I got this swatch irony watch ...the watch runs fine until yesterday I was turning to the correct time and low and behold the hour hand stop turning. This watch donot suppose to be fixed...After looking at several videos on you tube..... I was able to remove the bezel, winder , and crystal........ where the calendar works swatch put some type of glue on the screws to keep from removing the plate......... in one of videos this guy used a heat gun........I guess the only solution is to throw away the movement............ 14. I own this swatch irony , was winding the correct date on this Watch and it stop working............. there are several possible solutions to fix this problem but I do not know how to get the bezel off.............. researching the problem I found that swatch watches are not intended to fix..........I did not know if this is true or not , so I decided to ask the professionals about this................ can a swatch irony be fixed and how?
