I wonder if movements like the Seiko 7009 can be directly swaped for a 7S26/36 in an Seiko 5 case. Has anyone done or heard about such a thing. Thanks in advance.

 

For instance, I wonder which movement can be directly interchanged let's say, as in this thread, for different Seiko 5 's editions. Please, feel free to post equivalencies.

 

Example:

 

7S26 == 7S36 == 7S55 (made only in for Japan market/no day)

Haven't checked it out fully but 7002, 7009 & 7s26 calibres are the same dimensions, not to sure of the stem position.

I wonder if there is any substitution for the 7T32 which is discontinued! I know, quartz but stil there may be a substitute by Seiko/Epson....
