I watched Mark's Rolex 3075 service video and had a question about the function of the 24h minute wheel on the dial side.  This wheel sits above the main barrel and is not connected to any of the wheel train. It just sits in a bushing in the mainplate.  It only appears to only be in contact with the 12h minute wheel on the canon pinion.  How exactly does this wheel work?

I reviewed the 3075 parts sheet and see that there is a small drive gear on the 24h minute wheel that was not visible in Mark's video.  So it looks like the hour wheel on the pinion drives this wheel which in turn drives the 12h minute wheel on the pinion.
