I have a Rega Antichoc pendat watch (pictured).  It has no winder; it was purchased with crown and stem missing (in an ex-auction bag).  Assuming the worst I wound the mechanism by using a rubber-tipped pencil on the main wheel.

It ticks nicely and, given I can't set the hands, SEEMS to keep good time.

I keep all the parts from "scrappers" but have no winder that fits.  I've never had to source a spare; any help please?

Not with the tools I have with me at the moment (am at work ).  Will look properly when I get home.

Is this what I need then?  "I need the crown & winder for a Rega Cal. 1234"?

Rega might not make the movement some other company may have made it and Rega made case and dial It will have a makers mark something like "AS****" you need this to source the correct stem a crown with the same thread Dia can then be found to fit it after. Take a picture of mark if you can this will help the folk on here identify it for you.

I got my hopes up then :thumbsd:

Even with my USB Microscope there's no markings on the workings, in or around the balance wheel or otherwise.

I've checked the edges too, with no results.  In case it's under the face I've trried lifting that but the face seems too retcicent to move without damage.  May be reduced to buying scrappers in the hope of gaining a fit.

One, quick, further question?

Which crown?  Or, and this is a question based on the fact I have a box of assorted 8mm through 22mm strap pins, what do I search for for a random box of assorted crowns (and not get a dental supply firm)?
