I'm trying to disassemble a Langendorf 10118 movement, and I can't remove the center wheel.

These are two images of the dial side of the watch where the golden central gear is removed:

This reveals the axis of the center wheel with the gear that I'm referring to:

I think this is not a normal cannon pinion that could be removed with a cannon pinion removal tool. It looks to me like the small gear is press fit to the axis of the center wheel.

Do I understand it correctly that I would need a staking tool to disassemble this and to reassemble it later?

Thanks

I expect as there are 2 different height pinions it would come off as a single piece.

Interesting, I will make another attempt to remove it. Where did you find these parts listed?

@AndyGSi You are right, it is a normal cannon pinion. The problem was that my cannon pinion removal tool failed to grab it properly, and the pinion was firmly stuck on the axis. I finally managed to remove it with hands removal levers.
