We have a few SW200-1 movements in stock, these all come with a calendar disc for date. We intend to "modify" some of these movements to a no-date version to use them in watches that have no-date dials. While doing this, we want to do this "clean" so we can avoid a phantom-date position in the crown. In essence, after the modification, we'd like the crown to NOT have 3 positions, but only 2 positions.

After research, I understand that the part we need to replace is the "Setting lever jumper". This is denoted as Part No 445 (445/1563 for 3 positions, and 44/1564 for 2 positions). So, I assume we have to replace the setting lever jumper in the movement with the 445/1564.

All good so far!

Now, what our watchmaker isn't 100% sure of is which other parts have to be "removed" from the movement? Of course, the calendar disc needs to be removed. Removing only the calendar disc will still result in an audible click every 24 hours when the date-change engages, right?

So, besides replacing the setting lever jumper 445/1563 with 445/1564, what else needs to be removed from the movement to make this a "clean" modification that doesn't leave any traces behind, or introduce other problems by way of this modification?

PS: I am not a watchmaker, I am an independent brand owner. I intend to bring issues to this forum that our watchmaker isn't able to identify.
