TIMEX dive watch - Red Dot - hour hand not aligned.

I purchased a TIMEX red dot dive watch (1990). It runs great, no re issues except that the minute/hour hands are mis aligned by approximately 30 minutes. For example if the hour hand is just at the next hour mark, the minute hand is about the 30 minute mark.

I’m absolutely new to watch repair and my 66 year old hands are not as steady as they once were.

While this is aggravating I’m not certain I am willing to tackle the hand removal, re-attachment process. It seems difficult, but I’m sure the veterans in this group might have insights to ease my fears.
