Hi All, I’m afraid I’m a newbie after some info.  I am trying to get an old cuckoo clock going for a relative.  The movement was very dirty and sticky so I started by soaking it in Petrol and  then oiling it. To cut a long story short after some time I got it running out of its case.  When I replaced it in its case it became more temperamental so I removed again for a closer look.  I checked the pallet fork and it was badly grooved.  Unfortunately the part is no longer available from anywhere I can find on the net.  I have spent the day trying to repair the pallets but with little success.  I feel that the answer is a new pallet fork so do any of you fellas know where I might get on from?  The clock is a Hubert Herr, I am fairly sure it is a 30 hour movement, possibly a KW60?  CousinsUK do pallet forks for several similar models but not that one.  They all look similar and I did wonder whether the pallet forks are standard on several movements.  I would be grateful for any help / opinions.
