James here. Yes I am new to this interesting forum. I was hoping someone with repair knowledge could tell me if I can replace the Miyota 8200 movement with the 8205 movement ? I have done some searching on the web to see if you can buy an 8200 movement. I have been unable to find anyone who sells them. They may be out of production. I may just have to have my Citizen NY2300 serviced. I didn't know if it was more economical to simply replace the movement. The 8205 movement new is around $50. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all, James P.
