I am considering replacing the crown on my Prince Date 72000 with a Rolex crown.  I want to do this for no good reason other than I think it would be fun.

I am looking for information on the proper size crown that will fit the stem.  Do I have to replace the stem too or will the Tudor crown be able to be removed?

Your watch should have an ETA 2824-2 movement which has a 0.9mm Stem so you need to make sure the crown is suitable for a 0.9mm stem.

Depending on what crown you get and how long the tube is, you may need to replace the stem for a longer one or cut the existing one down.

Be warned that you'll need to remove the case back and stem to swap the crown and this needs to
be done with care as you could cause damage to the setting lever which would involve more work.
