Valjoux 7750 hour counting wheel - is it repairable?

Hello everyone

Lately, my Hamilton 7750 chronograph started to act weirdly (low amplitude, loosing a lot of time) despite a recent overhaul. I decided to redo the overhaul, so in the process, I just found the hour counting wheel separated in two.

is this repairable? Cousins is out of stock for now…

You have to put the parts in place, some force may be needed to fit the spring back. Then You should try to rivet it in staking set.

Thank you, I was thinking about the same thing, I will give it a try.

try re-assembly first, if not successful then purchase a new wheel, they are for sale all over Ebay if a supply house does not have said part.....
