New to the world of watch repair

Hello,

Just starting into the world of watch repair, I have 4 mechanical wind watches mostly all vintage military watches. One of my watches which said water proof ended up in the water with me and well it's water proof claim was past it's prime (water got in). Now the watch stopped working, I would suspect due to it flushing all the lubricant out of the watch.

So instead of paying someone to fix my watch I figured I would give it a go since I bought this watch very cheap. I work on my one cars so hoping watch repair is along the same lines just real small.

I look forward to watching videos and reading the threads to help me through my repair on this watch.

Going to start with a tear down, cleaning and reassembly in hopes that is all that is wrong with it.

Wish me luck
