enamel clock face

Recommended Posts

Good morning everyone from a rainy Lincolnshire.

I am currently restoring and polishing up a slate clock (with garnitures), this is really my first all out attempt and the case has come up nicely thanks to tips on here.  (Haven't got around to the detached drumhead yet!!!)

The enamel clock face really only requires a light clean just to get the dirt off as there are no cracks that I can see.  As I do not want t o make things worse what should I clean it with.

I will post before and after pictures when it is all complete and hopefully folks can tell me whether it is a good job or whether things could have been done better!!!

Many thanks

Dee.
