Citizen Diver

In the middle of a restoration project on a vintage 3802 citizen diver. Due to obsolescence I'm replacing the 3802 movement with a 6M02. Unfortunately, I get no movement from the new 6M02, despite a new battery. Something I'm missing with this movement?

I guess you have the stem in? Otherwise, it's possible that a new mov.t is fault from factory.

BTW, we have a section here to introduce oneself before asking questions.

Yes the stem is in. The stem operates the day and date changer. It also changes the time just fine. Just doesn't start up when back in position 0. With or without hands installed.

The 6M02 has been discontinued, not sure since. After years in stock the chances of a quartz module to be working decrease.

Pleased to report that after a quick disassembly and servicing she sprang to life.
