Poljot 2209 "double gear"

Hello,

I have disassembled the Poljot 2209 movement.

I would would need your advice, if it is ok to wash also the "double gear" and how to oil it later...

You can't take that apart. I think there is a small groove where you can oil it.

I know that it can't be taken apart. That is why I'm concerned that with cleaning I will also "wash away" the lubricant.

Much mistaken that for some other  similar construction. Vostok uses the same two wheel.  Best is to make it as clean and free running as possible. Put a tiny drop of oil between the wheels. very little is needed . Maybe some 9010 diluted with naptha will be okay.

I have washed the wheel in Zippo fluid. Then I oiled it a little between gears with 9010.

 It seems to be ok.
