anyone have any info on pocket watch case replating mailorder ect. reveiws I have read on google searches looks shakey. also can these pen plating systems do cases or just touchup.

I have done copper and nickel plating on motorcycle parts. Copper and precious metal is easier to do that say nickel or chrome, which involve toxic chemicals. I have never tried these pen systems. I will say that the preparation of the metal surface is key. With copper you can build up surface defects quite easily. A friend was doing gold and it was much easier than nickel.
