Making a yoke spring?

To get some experience I have stripped a old AZAU watch but have lost a spring from under the yoke, and would like to but it back together.

So for more experience how do you go about making a spring, Any one got the know how Phillip

You need to have good spring steel. If you dont have a stash of donor watches you can canniballise I've heard a good source of steel is guitar strings.

Thanks for the reply I found a spring that the wire  was not to thick  and will have a go with it and see how I get on

Some click springs from other movement are impossible to bend. They are so hard they break. But that you will discover when you work on it.
