Hi,

I would like watch repair to be my hobby.

I watched several Mark’s videos on YouTube and I guess the best way to start would be to buy a cheap (working) watch with 7s26 movement, tools and dive into it.
I think that would be the best way to start but any pointers and help to would be welcome.
At this moment I do not have any tools, I’m about to make the first step and I’m trying to figure out what my first steps should be.

For now I’m interested in mechanical watches only.

Take some time to peruse the forum,   some browsing and liberal use of the search box will give you a good start.

You could also consider taking Marks's watch repair course, he starts right at the beginning, including tools needed etc.
