Pin Vise - Useful Sizes?

Can anyone suggest the pin vise range that would be useful in watch repair?  0-2mm?  Or would a larger capacity be needed?  I recently replaced a crown and a pin vise would have been useful.

I would suggest the smallest size and the next size up. A pin vice is almost essential to make your life easy when working with the crown and stem. But don't buy those cheap ones off eBay - the jaws are usually terrible, I recommend either Bergeon or Eclipse. The one I use for over twenty years (still going strong) is Eclipse

I really enjoy tracking down that quality tool almost as much repairing watches.
