Hi all.

Often thought about fixing watches and after stumbling across the you-tube channel decided to give it ago - could do with a hobby that can be done inside in the warm!

So purchased an old scrap movement from ebay and had a go. (pic's below before I touched it!). More of that in another thread....

Total beginner as far as watches go - used to fix VCR's etc years ago so have some mechanical aptitude...

Ah VCR repair. Did that myself at one time, the worst would be when we would take apart a machine and find it full of (mostly) dead cockroaches.

Not likely to happen with watches, thank goodness!
