Using clipped needles on syringes for watch oiling.

Unless you can 100% block the hole, you risk contamination of your oils. There may be residual that stays in the hole.

I'm guessing he means as an auto-oiler, so oil held in the syringe body and applied via the needle. Kind of ingenious if you ask me, and no doubt rather cheaper than if you buy the Bergeon automatic oilers.
