further to this subject.on cleaning the movement(what a mess;the owner was a plasterer) i discovered it was a Brac 52! unfortunately while i was taking it apart (taking photos) i noticed the pallet fork and a wheel (plastic) had come loose and i am unsure how they fit.could anybody help please?5a96cc84ed5eb_2018-02-2815_32_57.thumb.jpg.96a8ac1b229aaf8d1a987702f8f05127.jpg5a96ccaa9df32_2018-02-2815_33_28.thumb.jpg.9cc55c97e1a48bb90909296f760543a7.jpg

I've joined this back.

As mentioned this is a very low grade mov.t,  it should not be difficult to place it back together.

THANKS JDM.appreciate what you say but i am a beginner and just need help with the two aforementioned items.the rest i can manage! bernie.

sorry jdm,i understand the above but i need to know where the pallet fork and the plastic escape wheel go on the plate.

Escape wheel goes into the the hole allows it to mesh with the next wheel in the train. Pallet fork goes into the one that allows it to interact with the escape wheel.
There shouldn't be other holes except for the balance one, further away and inline with the two above.

I suggest that you watch some of the Mark's videos, or even better become a subscriber of his course to become familiar with taking apart a watch and then putting it back together successfully.

Plastic wheel at 1, but as it has come loose a pivot must be broken!

Pallet fork at 2

Balance at 3

Thanks Watcher.put it all together then found the pallets pins had snapped off!(clumsy me).however i managed to source another fork and has just arrived today;hence the delay in responding to you.hopefully that should do the trick.
