Frustrated Seiko 7s26A search.

Help please. I have a 7s26A with a loose rotor bearing. The weight is rubbing on the case back. I've spent a couple hours looking everywhere for a replacement with no luck. I did find a rotor for a 7s36 on eBay. Would that one fit? Or if any one has a suggestion for an equivalent rotor with bearing or just a bearing, it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance for any help.

I know how you feel as I was in the same spot as you. In the end I sold the movement for spares and got a cheap seiko 5 with a good movement.

You can only use the 7s26a rotor, no other will fit. I don't know if the 7s26b and c variants fit...

I got my Seiko 5 for 12-14$ and it was functional, beat up on the outside, but functional and in good condition on the inside.

They all fit, including 7S, 4R, 6R and their SII equivalents. For details about 7S26 parts compatibility across versions check my table at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRN2UULQKTfKmhRStZhDdIOIQrqd6sPB-g6x2SKyQQjOvTBjG_7TQXQhAT4f1WqAX5QAPkIimi-3jqd/pubhtml

I think I may love you. Do you have comparison charts for any of the older ref’s? I’ve made similar for the 7Axx range, although the file got corrupted and I’ve not tried to resurrect it yet, and I have a partial one for the 6139 series.
