ETA 7750 30 minute sub dial fault

Good morning all I have a breitling 81950 Chronomat which has a fault on the 30 minute sub dial in that it stops at 14 minutes and will not move any further, I have followed lawsons excellent tutorial and stripped the movement down to the 30 minute counter drive wheel and I think I have found the fault. The minute counter drive wheel appears to be bent on the pinion because when it is turning it is rubbing on the plate when it rotates about half way, my problem is that lawsons tutorial says to just lift it of and mine appears to be a friction fit, is this the case? Any help and advice appreciated.

Personally I would not attempt to straighten it I would purchase a new one if available that is.

Yes thanks, I do intend to replace it just wondering how it comes off, am I right in assuming it is a friction fit.
