Stuck Date On Watch

I have a Watch that has a Day/Date on the dial, when I pull the crown out to adjust the day/date only the day changes, the date will not change at all.  So when the watch runs the day and Date do not change, can you point me in the right direction to solve this problem?

 

The only things I have done with watches is to change battries, and replace the workings and Crystals/Glass and repair straps, so be gental with me, thanks in advance.

Hi David,

 

What watch is it? If it was a Seiko (or Seiko movement) I would point at the plastic gear that is in charge of changing the day. Those can be damaged when they get stuck. Other movements may have other issues depending on how the day/date complication works...

Hi Thanks for getting back to me, the Watch is a Britling Automitic, its the date that is stuck as the day changes ok.  Thanks in advance.
