Remove Back of Kronotron Pocket Watch

I have a Kronotron Pocket Watch that has stopped running. It probably needs a cleaning.  Does anyone know how to remove the back of the watch? Thank you.

It would be helpful to post a picture of the caseback!

Anyway on these watches I guess it a snap back.. look around the edge and you should see a gap where you can insert a tool and twist. If you're going to do it yourself with a knife take precautions as the knife will slip easily and can seriously hurt you.

'Lifetime mainspring'.. to me this usually means a pin-lever movement. not really high-end horology but works OK.

It could be a screw back and bezel. And can be very fiddly

As said. Using a bit of magnification look for a gap in the back to slot a knife in. If not it's a screw back and bezel might be as well but not always. The problem is with this type of case, as you loosen one it naturally tightens the other and they can end up both being very stiff to remove.

modern inexpensive pocket watches tend to have a very tight "pop off" back.  and require a press to re install them.  modern screw back pocket watches tend to have poor threads, so inspect and pry carefully.     vin

A big thanks to everyone who contributed. The case back is a snap back and I was able to find the gap and remove it with my knife and a light tap of my hammer. Karl
