Peterborough festival of antiques

Recommended Posts

Just a heads up for anyone interested, on the 14th and 15th April there is a huge antiques fair in Peterborough at the East of England showground. It's held twice a year and I like to skip half a day off work to wonder around. It is massive. I rush round and half a day just about does it.

I have never bought any watches from there in the past, just mainly pens, pencils, trinket boxes, engineering tools. But there are plenty of people selling watches and clocks and I am hoping to pick up some project or practice watches. Prices are usually very negotiable.

As it is on a Bank Holiday this time expect it to be a bit busier than normal.

EDIT: Ouch, just seen the prices have gone up on Friday, now £7.50 entry, and £5 on the Saturday.
