Breitling pluton movement change?

Recommended Posts

Have stuck on this watch. It's a Pluton 2100 with a ESA 900.231 movement. Can't seem find out how to get the movement with the dial into the case? The pusher rods are in the way?  I now this a very delicate movements and don't want to destroy the movement that i now works okay? Anyone been working on this movements?  Pictures coming?

Can place the movement in the case if i don't have the dial there. This is the old movement.

Donor watch with correct movement. Lucky find :)

And the movement can only be placed from one side of the movement holder. Usually you put the movement holder in afterwards. DSC08139.thumb.JPG.820d741aee3248792df43f5759195e1a.JPG

Found that the pushers where a little loose in the case. So i guess i remove them and put the new movement in. And just screw them back in. Maybe a  little threadlock on the threads to prevent them from loosing. Funny thing as they seem to be the same as Omega pushers. DSC08142.thumb.JPG.99f4736d8bb27787be0496f709efcec0.JPG

This is how the parts look. Not sure they stay in there and i have to remove the circiut on the movement so i can tighten it up properly? Or maybe use some kind of thead looking? What do you think? DSC08144.thumb.JPG.eaae00c0263c9a775d7f8600a20f3d0e.JPG

Would be a bad idea to replace the pusher gaskets and the crown as the seem to have done it's best. BUt where do i find a new crown with breitlig logo?

Working again . Crystal is not aligned? But that is not anything i will do anything about. And i am not going to work on this kind of watches again. Pain in the ....

The movement had a special locking screw that i couldn't transfer from the old to the new. But i works good when i crank down the case back.

I will loctite the pushers when i see that the watch works okay.
