Auto Oiler Help Reqired.

I am used to classic pin oiler. Just wonder how to operate a Bergeon 7718 auto oiler. Shall I trigger before positioning, or vice versa.? What should be the optimised position of the rubber o-ring?

Just a small extract of the pdf. For this instrument does not serve to oil the whole movement according to what I have read. But maybe yes but I do not know because I do not know much about this automatic oil

Just wonder if 1A can also be suitable for lubricate the pivots of other wheels
