3135 hairspring

Hey all,

I'm in the process of remaining a waterdamaged 3135 and am stuck at the hairspring. It is in decent condition waterdamaged Wise but it is twisted to all hell. Is there a source for just the hairspring or do you have to buy the balance assembly all in one?

Fairly certain you'd need to replace the whole balance.

American pocket watches did at least for some did have replacement hairsprings separate from the balance wheel. but the balance wheels also had timing screws and timing screws were available from the factory so you had lots of room for adjustment. Modern balance wheels the hairsprings are usually vibrated to the balance wheel they come as a pair.
