Cool watches, but your right there is a reason why the dial as we know it is still the same since they added the minute hand.

Watches like that really are just adverts for the companies that make them showing how technically good the company is.

Some people can, and that's why they are made and sold. Haute horlogerie has always existed, and today's it has reached new highs. I think it's mainly fueled by a decrease in manufacturing costs. Today's CNC high precision machines are a lot more accessible than before.
