You mean like lap dance :D. I don't have that around where i live.

If you mean radial case lapping you should seek RC design threads . I think he has shown his lapping machine here?

If you would be so kind as to point this lost WIS in the right direction Please. TIA :)

Bob- the white disc shown in the photo is an adapter to hold the case. It's made as a slight interference fit with the case ID, with a shoulder that registers on the back of the case, and a notch milled in it for the crown tube. The material is nylon so there's no chance of marring the case.

I'll probably make some internal expanding collets at some point, but this system works well for me.

Thanks Steve,

Just wondering how to make my own...but I don't have a lathe! The horotec equivalent is really expensive and I don't know if it is actually worth it....like all overprice name brand offerings.

Cheers,

Bob

Sorry - to much work and no play these days! ;)

Still lapping cases - using a different setup now but it is still done with a large rotating disc!

Here's one that I did for@ramrod2eb57275b7eb77c25c8b56036c08e423.jpg

I should have done a little more with the bezel on this one.

Thanks for putting that one up, Steve. I had so much to do list night that I didn't get around to posting. Ain't it beautiful, guys?

Steve, I touched up the nylon insert on that bezel. I put it on a sanding block and smoothed it. It worked pretty well.
