How To Make A Clock In The Home Machine Shop

My only concern for Chris' project is the deviation he made from the standard plans for the dial by adding an inner bezel.  He's made the inner bezel quite proud of the Dial face, which will means not only will he have to change the heights of the Minute and Hour bosses; but the hands will also sit much further away from the dial face itself.

Now I'm not trying to take anything away from this master machinist, as I'm a Fitter and Turner by trade and his skills on a lathe and mill are exceptional; but for me, the closer the hands sit to the dial the more appealing a clock face looks.

What are your opinions on this guys?  Do you think he'll have to alter his design slightly and lower the inner bezel?

Hey Peixian

Did you watch the whole series mate?  At present there are like 16 videos in the series mate, and they just get better and better each episode.

Not only is his work beautifully crafted, so are his videos.
