Feeling Orange Today

Today i'm wearing an "Erso" with a copper dial which I just finished servicing. Can't decide whether I like it or hate it..

 

 

 

but the ETA 810 movement sure is pretty!

Well, I've never seen a copper dial before - I see what you mean about not being sure whether you like it or not. The movement looks very nice - good timekeeper?

Yes actually. It was a bit all-over-the-place before I cleaned it, but it's better now, although my timing machine still goes bananas if I test it in the crown-up position...

I really like the copper dial! I'm thinking of getting a dial refinished in a copper color for one of my future watch builds.

I have a Venus 170 chronograph movement complete with "Chronograph Suisse" copper finished dial and hands that I must get a case for sometime. The movement is stunning, but small compared to the Landeron movements.

I love the watch and combination of colors. To be honest, and this is not the case, I was not too hot about orange dials but once I finished a diver with one I'm falling in love with those too. The copper color is certainly rare and a beauty. I find it more sophisticated that simple orange.

 

The lemon citizen is real pretty too Mark!
