Latest ebay purchase a bargain at £11.10 it's been running since winding. Needs a clean and a service and i think ill give matabog's glass polish a go I'm well pleased

What a bargain! Helvetia is a very good make, and the price for that quality watch - never mind the condition - is excellent. That's a cracking movement. Just the sort of thing I used to hunt down in my eBay-gazing days.

Superb!  A great bargain AND you have rescued a lovely old watch from oblivion.  Lots of those lovely watches from the 60s will keep working forever if serviced and used sensibly.  They often outlive their original owners, just like some lovely restored classic cars.

An excellent quality watch. If it was mine, I would invest in a good quality leather strap for it and it wold look absolutely superb. The down side, the strap would cost more than the watch did! :D
