Well This A Bit Late.

Hello,

My name is Justin.

I came here after watching marks videos, as they've helped quite alot.

I've been dealing in vintage watches since I was 17 and have been doing it for 13 years now.

I worked at a second hand goods shop at the age of 16 and the money I got from that I bought a £150 screwback longines from the 1940's and sold it the next week for £250 and then used that money to buy and sell onwards to become a full time watch dealer.

Now I specialize in military watches, rolex, omega, jaeger lecoultre, longines, divers watches and chronographs between the years 1920's - 1960's.

As for repair work, this is only something I've taken more seriously recently. I've always been able to change a watch glass, take a watch dial off and replace watch crowns with the original watch crowns since I've started.

However prices are starting to get really high with my watch maker and I've learned to do some more things with the help of marks videos, such as changing a mainspring and proper cleaning and oiling.

Also welcome from me as well Justin.

Good to have a Dealer on the forum as your advice would no doubt be useful and reciprocated with watch repair advice by the forums greybeards and elders if needed.  Great place this and not too starchy either.

Cheers,

Vic
