I could only offer a single improvement for that page: ask to use a phone's accelerometer to replace the static down.

His blog post post is what got me into watchmaking. Truly next level stuff. All the animations are lovingly hand-written in WebGL.

It has been a dream of mine to construct a real-life exploded watch movement. I've been working on it on and off for a couple years now. I'll post somewhere on this site if I ever manage to work out all the kinks...
